GPS & Autopilot – Return to Saved Spots with Precision
A good spot is of little use if you can’t reliably find it again after the next run or the following morning.
Depending on configuration, the RT7 can be fitted with GPS and Carplounge Autopilot V4. Saved positions can then be built into your routine on the bank and driven to again.
That is useful, for example, when you want to put a rig back in the same area after a fish, or when you regularly drive out to set baited spots.
GPS doesn’t replace watching the water or experience. Combined with an echo sounder and mapping, though, it becomes a tool for logging interesting areas and using them again later with repeatable accuracy.
Bait Boat with Echo Sounder & Mapping – Reading the Features Under the RT7
GPS shows you the position – the echo sounder and mapping give you extra information about what lies beneath the bait boat.
For suitably configured RT7 systems, Carplounge offers the Raymarine Element QHD, among others. It lets you record depths and underwater features and link them with mapping functions.
Especially on unfamiliar waters, drop-offs, plateaus, depth changes, weedbeds and other features can show you which areas deserve a closer look.

Winch Cam – Look at Your Spot Live Underwater from the Bait Boat
With the Carplounge Smart Winch Cam, you can lower a camera from the bait boat below the surface and check your chosen area visually.
The Smart Winch Cam V4 HD Pro is an underwater camera system for the Carplounge RT7 and RT4. The camera is available with a 10 or 15 metre Kevlar cable and, on the RT7, can be integrated into the control concept of the All-in-One Controller.
Depending on the version, the Winch Cam comes without sensors or with a sensor system that can also display depth and water temperature at the camera’s current depth. This adds a direct visual check of the spot to your echo sounder and mapping data.
That is particularly useful if you want to judge the bottom, weed, snags or the area where you plan to drop your rig on more than sonar data alone.
Multi-Bait-Spreader – Spread Boilies, Pellets & Particles Precisely
A bait boat doesn’t have to drop bait on a single spot only – with the Multi-Bait-Spreader you can also build a larger baited area in a controlled way.
The Carplounge Multi-Bait-Spreader was developed for the RT7 and RT4 V4. It connects plug & play to the Carplounge BUS system and is controlled via the app.
With different cups you can spread boilies, pellets and particles, among other baits. Up to four spreaders can be combined within the system and run individually or together.
That turns the bait boat from a simple way of transporting rig and bait into part of your baiting strategy itself.
Boatlifter – Getting Your Bait Boat Safely from the Jetty into the Water
Jetties, sheet piling and awkward banks can make it hard just to launch a fully loaded bait boat safely.
For situations like these, Carplounge offers the Boatlifter. It screws onto a standard landing net handle via the standard thread and makes it easier to lower the bait boat into the water or lift it out from a greater height.
According to Carplounge, the Boatlifter is suitable for the RT7, RT4, RT3 and RT2. A coating is designed to reduce slipping and protect both the boat and the handle during handling.
