The basics are a weatherproof jacket, comfortable trousers, a warm mid layer, footwear with grip, a cap or beanie and, depending on use, rainwear, thermal clothing or waders. What matters is that the clothing suits the season, the fishing method and the length of the session.
What fishing clothing makes sense in the rain?
In the rain you need a waterproof fishing jacket, matching waterproof trousers or a waterproof suit and footwear that doesn’t soak through straight away. Look for sealed seams, an adjustable hood, tough zips and enough freedom of movement when sitting and casting.
What do you wear for winter fishing?

No. Your day ticket is valid on any show day and gives you a single entry.
Do I need to print my ticket?
Not for entry – just show your ticket on your smartphone. If you want to take part in the €500 Shopping Tour draw, also bring your ticket printed out.
Is my ticket transferable?
Yes. The ticket barcode is scanned once at the entrance.
Can I use my ticket more than once?
No. Each ticket is valid for a single entry and is voided when you enter.
