I built my first rods as a child – not for fun, but because I didn’t have the financial means.
Fishing was not a hobby. It was food. It was freedom. What began as survival became a lifelong obsession.

Austrian premiere at Carp Austria 2025
Rodbuilder Mate is coming to Austria – and is bringing a whole range of real innovations with it.

At Carp Austria 2025 I will be presenting my latest tools for demanding carp and predator anglers:
completely redesigned inflatable boats, built for stability and safety in every situation, several special models for predator fishing, developed from real practice and the new RBM Kayacat 275 fishing kayak – light, robust and made for real anglers, not for brochures.
In addition, there are the new Enforcer Start long casting rods, various fishing rod models with elegant cork handles and the RBM Cast&Feed carbon boilie rod, which perfectly combines strength, lightness and control.
Everything I develop – whether rods, boats or accessories – is a tool.
No decoration. No compromise.
Ninety percent is not enough for me – I only stop when it’s perfect.
