The P4 Line SHR Bobbin is Poseidon’s hanging bite indicator for carp rods, available in black, white and clear. With add-on weights – SHR Heavy Weight 23 g and Super Heavy Weight 46 g – you can adjust it to wind, current and distance.
The SHR Swing Kit turns the bobbin into a swinger. Its wind-resistant design gives precise indication even in a gale, and according to the manufacturer the kit works with all line types. The system is completed by the Bobbin Trigger Adjuster 2.0 and the BTA Adapter.
Multifunction Backlead and Ground Controller
A backlead pulls the main line down to the bottom behind the rod tip. This keeps the line out of the way of fish, boats and floating debris. The P4 Line Multifunction Backlead comes in 60 g and 100 g.
The range also includes backlead holders, Easy Slide Backleads and the Ground Controller. Which hookbait and feed suit your rig is covered in our carp bait guide.
Rod Safe, Rod Pod and Banksticks
The Rod Safe is a rod holder that keeps your rod securely in place – handy in the boat, on a jetty or in transit. It comes in three sizes for different blank diameters:
| Rod Safe | Blank diameter |
|---|---|
| Small | 11–16 mm |
| Medium | 17–21 mm |
| Large | 22–26 mm |
For longer sessions, Poseidon offers the Technoline series with rod pod, buzz bars, IED banksticks and adapters. Which carp rod suits it is shown in our overview Fishing rods: exhibitors’ carp rods compared.
Spider Bow Landing Net
The Spider Bow 42″ is Poseidon’s carp landing net. According to the manufacturer, it features a semi-automatic locking system and lightweight 1K carbon. A 42-inch replacement mesh is available separately, along with a magnetic net float from the P4 Line. What matters when choosing a landing net is explained in our guide Choosing the right carp landing net: size, mesh and arms.
Carp Care: Unhooking Mat P4 and Weigh Sling P4 Line
Fish care is a dedicated part of Poseidon’s range. According to the manufacturer, the Unhooking Mat P4 is 100% waterproof, quick-drying, sturdy and lightweight. It is also available in Cabrio and Compact versions. The Weigh Sling P4 Line and its Compact version round off the range, along with the Flat Mat and the Sling & Carp Sack Holder.
