Fishing shows in Europe 2026 & 2027 – dates at a glance

The following calendar features selected European fishing shows, fishing fairs, carp shows and specialist exhibitions that are particularly relevant to anglers travelling across continental Europe.

Carp Zwolle 2027? The famous show is now Carp Den Bosch

Carp Zwolle remains one of the best-known names in European carp fishing, which is why many anglers still search for terms such as Carp Zwolle 2027, Carp Zwolle tickets or Carp Zwolle dates.

However, the event is no longer held in Zwolle. After many years at the IJsselhallen, the show moved to the Brabanthallen in ‘s-Hertogenbosch and is now called Carp Den Bosch.

The current event continues the tradition of Carp Zwolle and remains one of the most important dedicated carp shows in Europe.

Carp Den Bosch 2027 – formerly Carp Zwolle

Carp Den Bosch 2027 takes place on 16 and 17 January 2027 at the Brabanthallen in ‘s-Hertogenbosch, the Netherlands.

The show is completely dedicated to carp fishing. Around 24,000 m² of exhibition space brings together more than 160 stands with leading European carp tackle brands and manufacturers.

Visitors can expect carp rods, reels, terminal tackle, boilies and bait, bite alarms, bivvies, bedchairs, clothing, bait boats and other specialist carp fishing equipment.

For anglers who still search for Carp Zwolle: Carp Den Bosch is the direct continuation of that well-known European carp show, just at its newer location in ‘s-Hertogenbosch.

ANGELWELT Berlin 2026 – one of Europe’s major all-round fishing shows

ANGELWELT Berlin 2026 takes place from 27 to 29 November 2026 at the Berlin Exhibition Grounds in Germany.

Unlike a specialist carp-only event, ANGELWELT covers a very broad range of modern fishing. More than 20,000 m² are dedicated to areas including bait and tackle, boats and technology, lure and predator fishing, casting, fly fishing, sea fishing and fishing travel.

Its broad product range makes ANGELWELT particularly interesting to anglers who want to compare different fishing disciplines and discover new tackle from major international brands.

ANGELWELT forms part of the wider OutVenture Berlin event, but has its own substantial fishing exhibition area and programme.

Carp Austria 2026 – Austria’s largest dedicated fishing show

On 5 and 6 December 2026, the international fishing community meets at Carp Austria at ARENA NOVA in Wiener Neustadt.

Carp Austria is a dedicated fishing show: the entire event is focused exclusively on fishing. It is not simply a fishing section within a larger hunting, cycling, outdoor or leisure exhibition.

Across more than 9,000 m² and four halls, anglers can explore carp fishing, predator fishing, bait and boilies, rods and reels, bivvies, clothing, boats, electronics and modern fishing tackle from brands, manufacturers and specialist retailers from across Europe.

Carp fishing is at the heart of the event, while predator anglers, spinning anglers and anglers looking for catfish equipment will also find a substantial selection of products and exhibitors.

The show is also focused on buying and comparing tackle in person. Visitors can handle rods and reels, inspect bivvies and boats, discover new releases, speak directly with manufacturers and take advantage of special show deals.

Which European fishing show is right for you?

European fishing fairs vary greatly in size, specialisation and format. Choosing the right event depends on whether you want a dedicated carp show, a broad fishing exhibition or a specialist event.

• Dedicated carp shows: Carp Den Bosch, Carp Show Moravia, CarpParma and Montluçon are particularly relevant to carp anglers.
• Carp plus wider fishing: Carp Austria, PontyShow, FOR FISHING Prague, FOR FISHING Nitra and RYBOMANIA combine strong carp sections with other fishing disciplines.
• Predator and lure fishing: ANGELWELT Berlin, Carp Austria, FOR FISHING Prague, FOR FISHING Nitra and RYBOMANIA offer substantial predator-fishing content.
• Catfish: Montluçon and CarpParma have particularly strong catfish profiles, while Carp Austria and FOR FISHING also include catfish tackle.
• Fly fishing: EWF is a dedicated fly fishing event. ANGELWELT, AQUA-FISCH, Duisburg and several all-round shows also have dedicated fly fishing areas.
• Broad all-round fishing shows: ANGELWELT Berlin, FOR FISHING Prague, RYBOMANIA and FOR FISHING Nitra cover a wide range of modern fishing disciplines.

Dedicated fishing shows vs multi-sector exhibitions

Visitor numbers and exhibition size are not always directly comparable between fishing events.

Some events form part of a much larger exhibition covering subjects such as hunting, cycling, boating, outdoor activities or aquatics. Their total visitor figures may therefore include people who did not primarily attend for fishing.

Dedicated fishing shows such as Carp Austria and Carp Den Bosch are different: their exhibition space, exhibitors and visitor interest are focused specifically on fishing or, in the case of Carp Den Bosch, exclusively on carp fishing.

This distinction is useful when comparing the scale and relevance of different European fishing fairs.
