Schmidt Experience stands for passion, quality and decades of expertise in carp fishing.
Frank Schmidt, who was already targeting big carp before the “boilie era”, has over 35 years of experience in developing baits. Since the 1980s, he has been perfecting his boilie mixes, which not only look good on paper, but also prove themselves in practice. With a particular focus on natural ingredients and highly effective additives, such as ingredients produced by fermentation, he develops baits that hook carp time and time again.
Together with his son Nico, Frank travels all over Europe in search of big carp. To date, the pair have caught over 180 carp weighing more than 30 kg – an impressive track record based on the uncompromising quality of their boilies.

Yalla Yalla Boilies are the result of countless series of tests designed specifically for catchability and digestibility.
At Schmidt Experience, every product is handmade with attention to detail. Freshness and naturalness are at the forefront, which is why large stocks are deliberately avoided in order to always offer high-quality and freshly produced bait. The individual bait shapes and edges give each fishing spot its own character and have become a cult.
The Schmidt Experience team relies on tried-and-tested basic mixtures and is constantly developing them further to encourage carp to eat in a targeted manner and thus maximize the chances of a big catch. All products are tested in-house and bear the “Made in Germany” stamp. Their mission: to accompany anglers on the way to their target fish and guarantee their success on the water.
