Under the motto \u201cEnjoy Nature. Enjoy Fishing. Enjoy Life.\u201d it offers two lakes with a total of 12 swims \u2013 all with camping and strictly catch &amp; release.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Besides carp, the lakes also hold catfish and sturgeon. There are day tickets, multi-day tickets, weekly tickets and annual tickets on request. Pike fishing is only possible on request and on a catch &amp; release basis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Fishing licence: what do you need?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Both lakes are subject to the licence conditions and the Lower Austrian Fisheries Act. You need a valid Lower Austrian fishing licence or a Lower Austria guest permit. According to the operator, you can get the guest permit right on site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Mandatory tackle at Atlantis<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Fish welfare comes first. According to the fishery rules, you need:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>3 rods with a test curve of at least 3 lb<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>monofilament main line of at least 0.30 mm, no braided main line<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>single micro-barbed hooks in size 4, 6 or 8<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>a landing net at least 90 cm across<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>a well-padded unhooking mat with raised sides, at least 100 \u00d7 80 cm \u2013 ideally a carp cradle<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>weigh sling, retention sling and wound antiseptic \u2013 even for small fish<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Which landing net meets these requirements is explained in the guide <a href=\"https:\/\/carp-austria.com\/en\/carp-landing-nets\/\">choosing a carp landing net: size, mesh and arms<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Baiting at Atlantis: boilies yes, particles no<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Classic baiting up is not allowed. You may, however, scatter boilies around your hookbait \u2013 with a throwing stick, catapult, by hand or with PVA. Particles such as maize, hemp or tiger nuts are strictly forbidden as feed and only allowed as hookbait or in a stick mix or PVA.
